This week's devastating earthquake in Japan
makes one realize how petty most of our problems are.

  1. Earthquakes are part of Nature's renewal but woe betide any mere human in its path! So much suffering and you are right. Events like that should make us wonder why we are 'sweating the small stuff'!
PS. Please assure me that in the making of the photo no chickens were harmed!

  2. My thoughts exactly. At this moment the sun is out here and I can see purple crocus blooming. I get to go wash my dishes in the peace of my house. We are so lucky.

  3. Our problems all seem so minor compared to what these poor people are facing. It's not only the today they have to worry about but the coming weeks and months.

Thanks for dropping by my blog.

    Cheers, Fi

PS Love the quote on your blog - so true

  4. Earthquakes are a humbling and horrible reminder that latent forces are always imperceptibly building beneath us, that is nature's way. ( Japan is now 8 ft
closer to our shores!) Nuclear power is mankind's answer to a greener renewal and it should be within our power to avert a collision.

  5. Chilling. I was trying to figure out what those were, then I saw Stafford's comment about chicken bones. Tragic what the Japanese are facing - it cannot be sugar coated.

  9. It took me a while to figure out what they were! Ok, wishbones! That's a great shot!

So terribly sad about Japan, and it certainly does put things in perspective.

  10. I was watching the news with my 17 year old last night and he went to bed with tears in his eyes....something he 'don't do a lot' in front of his mum anymore.

    I love Stafford's PS....!What a man!

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
